Lancon is a Junior Football Club which plays in the Central Lancashire Junior Football League and the Mid Lancashire Colts League. The Club was founded in August 1995, with the aim to provide football for young people in the Lancashire area and to try and divert them away from anti-social behaviour.
Our home games are played at the Lancashire Police Headquarters in Hutton, and we are very grateful to them for allowing us to use their great facilities. We are also grateful to the Lancashire Partnership Against Crime department for all their support since our formation.
The Club is also proud that we have the honour of having Mark Lawrenson as our Honorary President.
Originally one squad was set up to participate in the 1995/6 season in the C.L.J.F.L. U12's division. During this season 15 young people were able to enjoy playing football. Fortunately now we are able to provide football to over 170 young people ranging from U8's to U16's.
We have come a long way in twelve years and we hope to continue for many years to come to provide good training in a safe environment where young people can develop to the best of their ability.
